Christian Jensen built the Monitee app as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.
If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at Monitee unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our Service, I may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that I request will be retained on your device and is not collected by me in any way.
The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Analytics
With your consent, the app collects anonymous usage and performance analytics through Firebase Analytics. This helps me understand which features are used most so I can maintain and improve them, and spot reliability problems faster.
This analytics collection is opt-in: it is switched off by default, and nothing is collected until you explicitly allow it. The first time you open a version of the app that supports analytics you are asked to make a separate, optional choice — you do not need to re-accept this entire privacy policy. You can change your mind at any time under Settings → Privacy → Analytics; turning it off stops all further analytics collection.
If, and only if, you have consented to analytics, the app collects:
- App interactions — anonymous in-app usage such as which screens and features are opened and app performance signals. This tells me which features are used most so I can maintain and improve them and spot reliability problems faster.
- Firebase Installation ID — an identifier assigned to your specific installation of the app. Firebase uses it to distinguish one installation from another so usage figures are not double-counted. It is not tied to your identity, and it is reset if you clear the app’s data or reinstall the app.
The analytics data is anonymous. I do not collect your server credentials, passwords, or the data from the servers you monitor for analytics purposes.
I process this data solely for analytics purposes — understanding and improving how the app is used. I do not sell it or share it with any third parties for their own purposes. Firebase acts only as a processor handling the data on my behalf under Google’s terms.
Your Rights Under the GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you rights over your personal data. For the purposes of the GDPR, Christian Jensen is the data controller for the analytics data described above, and can be reached at krillsson.dev@gmail.com.
- Legal basis. I collect and process the Firebase Installation ID and your app-interaction data only on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give this consent through the separate, opt-in analytics choice described above, and you can withdraw it at any time under Settings → Privacy → Analytics — withdrawal is as easy as giving consent and stops all further collection. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it.
- Purpose. This data is processed solely to analyse and improve how the app is used. It is not used for advertising, profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, or automated decision-making, and it is not sold or shared with any third parties for their own purposes.
- Your rights. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact me at krillsson.dev@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
- Retention. Analytics data is retained by Firebase for a limited period and is automatically deleted after that period. Clearing the app’s data or reinstalling the app resets the Firebase Installation ID.
Log Data
I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
Service Providers
I may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

- To provide the Service on our behalf;
- To perform Service-related services; or
- To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact me so that I will be able to do the necessary actions.

I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
